Rick Perry officially entered the race for president crashing the Ames, Iowa Straw Poll party in August 2011. Perry’s a Texan ranger whose demeanor has been compared to President George W. Bush. However, these two Texan governors couldn’t be any more different in terms of big government and spending. Moreover, the Bush and Perry camp are well-known to be in opposition to each other’s ideas. Rick Perry is relatively new the field he is a political unknown to many of those outside of Texas, so let’s take a look at where he all got started.
